system (if applicable) must be provided to the staff of these
organizations. The bidders/ potential suppliers need to be among
the vendors/ suppliers Authorized by the Federal Transport
Authority of Ethiopia to provide the supply and installation of the
Speed Limiter.
Product Description
Vehicle speed limiter CA100F is a intelligent terminal equipment
which can realize precise speed limiting for vehicles. It is not
only a speed limiter but also a GPS Tracker.
The retrieved data shall be in a format that the motor vehicle
inspection officer will be able to understand without requiring the
services of a speed limiter specialist.
The speed limiting device shall be so designed, constructed and
assembled so as to resist vibrations, corrosion, dust, humidity,
petrochemicals and aging phenomena to which it may be exposed.
No malfunction or unauthorized interference shall result in an
increase in engine power above the demanded by the position of the
driver's accelerator. The malfunction of the speed limiter devices
shall not affect the normal vehicular performance;

features of GPS Speed Limiter
GPS Speed Limiter. User can setup top speed to limit vehicle speed either by SMS or
computer based tool.
Geo fence based Speed Limit. The device support 3 fences to setup different speed limit per
fences.
USB flash data downloaded. Vehicle travelling data could be retrieved by using a computer or
a USB flash or a wireless Bluetooth printer.
Data could be stored for at least 72 working hours for future reference, including date, time, speed, car plate
number, owner name, fitting center, installer name, installed date,
longitude, latitude, etc.
Tamperproof. UniGuard vehicle speed limiters are specially designed for none
drivers or any other unauthorized people can tamper with the
installed devices. Once device is tampered, it shall go to limp mode- vehicle speed is restricted to 40KM/H or 30KM/H. (Per Kenya or Ethiopia Standard)
Prewarn if 95% of set speed limit is reached, beep sound will be produced
continuously.
In installation UniGuard speed governor could be hidden in a place
not accessible by unauthorized people.
The speed limiter recorder could communicate with computer by use
of USB flash.
